Just Listen Journey offers online creative writing classes with floral and interior design elements.
Course Objectives
Students will discover a variety of creative writing outlets and use them to express their emotions.
Students will develop tools to create a safe space within their home and body.
Students will learn how to design different flower arrangements.
Students will complete the program with a foundational understanding of creative writing, floral and interior design.
Course Overview
Each of our classes includes an introduction to a different literary genre such as poetry, creative nonfiction, and more. We provide writing prompts, share published works, and help survivors write their own story.
We also use interior design principles, color theory, and floral design history to help survivors create their own version of safety. Our coursework features step-by-step instructions for flower arrangements and room remodel guidelines.
Course Audience
Currently, our classes are open only to women who are survivors of sexual violence. No prior creative arts experience is required.
